Pharmaron is proud to present our exhibitor-hosted session titled, “A Holistic Approach to Toxicology and Bioanalysis of ADCs”
- Where: Room 23B
- When: Tuesday, March 24th, from 9:15–10:15 AM
Pharmaron presents a holistic approach to ADC toxicology, integrating physicochemical and ADME insights to enable meaningful interpretation. We address in vivo toxicology in cynomolgus monkeys and the complexity of ADC bioanalysis using LC?MS and LBA platforms, including hybrid and generic methods, to enable robust quantification during discovery and regulatory stages.
Don’t Miss Our Talk
Session 43, Visionary Foresight Symposium: Pioneering Cell-Based Therapies
- When: Wednesday, March 25, 2026
- Time: 8:00 -10:45 am
- Speaker: Sandeep Kumar, Ph.D., Director of Ophthalmology will speak in the Ocular Specialty Section; Biotechnology Specialty Section & Regulatory and Safety Evaluation Specialty Section.
- Talk Title: Enabling Breakthroughs in Ocular Disease: The Strategic Role of CROs in Cell Therapy Development
- Abstract: Cell-based therapies hold transformative potential for treating ocular diseases, offering innovative approaches for conditions that currently lack effective treatments. Their successful development, however, requires comprehensive and rigorous preclinical evaluation to ensure safety, efficacy, and alignment with regulatory expectations. Contract Research Organizations (CROs) play a pivotal role in supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors throughout the nonclinical development pipeline. This presentation will highlight the strategic contributions of CROs in designing and executing ocular cell therapy studies that support safety and efficacy assessments—from early-stage planning through Investigational New Drug (IND)-enabling studies. Key focus areas include selecting appropriate and translational animal models, thorough characterization of the cell therapy product, precise surgical delivery techniques tailored for ocular administration, and advanced in vivo imaging modalities to monitor biodistribution, therapeutic effects and safety. The importance of adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards will also be discussed, as these are critical for ensuring data integrity, meeting regulatory requirements, and facilitating a smooth transition to first-in-human clinical trials.
